Ingredients
- Basmati Pilaf
- Basmati Rice 300 gm
- Cardamom green 2 gm
- cloves 2 gm
- cinnamon 2 gm
- Bay leaf 1 frunze
- Salt to taste
- vegetable oil 15 gm
- H20 as needed
- saffron 1 gm
- Cashew 30 gm
- Raisins 30 gm
Instructions
for Rice
- wash Basmati rice and soak for 15 mins
- In a stock pot , add oil and spices till fragrant
- add rice and double the quantity of boiling water ,, salt , simmer covered for 10 mins
- add soaked saffron over the Rice , and Toasted Cashew and raisins
- shut off heat and keep covered for another 10 mins
- serve both hot
