Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice 400 gm
  • raisins 30 gm
  • cinnamon 1 gm
  • cloves 1 gm
  • cardamom green 1 gm
  • bayleaf 1 gm
  • veg oil 15 ml
  • Salt 15 gm

Instructions

method for Chicken tikka

  1. wash and soak rice in water for 15 mins ( do not crush the rice , use a light hand )
  2. soak raisins in warm water and set aside
  3. add rest of the ingredients except raisins
  4. add 1.75 parts of boiling water to 1 part of rice
  5. when simmering cover and cook on low heat 15 mins
  6. when cooked , use a fork and add raisins and cover
  7. TASTE , and serve warm accordingly
